Dolan Memory Care Homes has over 25 years of caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Tim Dolan saw a challenge over 25 years ago that needed to be addressed: caring for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias with dignity and respect. When Tim built his first home in 1994 for individuals with a memory impairment, few placement options were available for families. Dolan Memory Care Homes is locally owned and operated.

Debbie Schweiss, RN Nurse Manager at Dolan Memory Care Homes receives award for the 2020 Top Nurses in St. Louis with St. Louis Post Dispatch. Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias rob our loved ones of their personality, memory and life skills. However, Debbie Schweiss makes sure it does not steal their dignity.
Allison Dolan-Boschert, AGPCNP, BSN, RN, Nurse Consultant at Dolan Memory Care Homes, graduated Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College, where she achieved an Academic Excellence Award. This award recognizes students who have maintained a high level of academic achievement throughout their program of study.
Toni Dewhirst, RN, LNHA, Resident Care Coordinator, Dolan Memory Care Homes. In 2014 Toni was recognized for Nursing Excellence by St. Louis Magazine for the Senior Division. SLM received more than 200 nominations from patients, physicians, and nursing colleagues who wished to recognize the region’s outstanding nursing professionals. A prestigious selection committee then scored the nominations and chose the finalists. (Note: Health organizations cannot pay to be included.)

Tim Dolan, Owner and President, was recognized by the State of Missouri as a leader in the care of persons with a memory impairment. He participated in the State’s Alzheimer’s Pilot Program to investigate and develop new environments and care techniques for Missourians affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. He was chosen by Governor Nixon to be a member of the Missouri State Alzheimer’s Task force representing the long term care of the state.
